Dipped in Colors: A Guide to Monochromatic Styling

monochromatic styled color scheme uses a single color on most every room surface with slight changes in color, or hue, and runs through several of its tints, tones and shades. In this type of scheme, complementary tones of the main color may still be included in the palette, but never in such a way that breaks a 20-80 balance. In addition, the one color is often paired with white or another neutral. Dip your rooms, nooks and crannies into your favorite color and create something harmonious, fresh and incredibly versatile. Let’s look at some examples.
