Miniforms had a couple of surprises to show during Milan Design Week 2019. They’ve presented a couple of new furniture products all of which have an artistic touch to them as well as a colorful and vibrant attitude. These new furniture products stand out for their unique design concept and today we’re showing you why.
Mitilo is defined by Miniforms as a “sofa and armchair family”, and it’s a good example of an eclectic piece that can perfectly fit both in public and private spaces. This chair has a joint between the frame and its deep seat, which guarantees maximum comfort.
Best defined by their soft and round shapes (like a work by Botero), they also have their structure made in wood and fire-retardant upholstered in Class 1IM. The chairs are available in two different heights and sizes and can be adorned by different types of fabrics, among them Kvadrat Maharam Merit or Esedra Tricot.
Juice consists of a monumental table, with a wide and iconic basement reminiscent of a juicer. Its top can be available in oval or round shapes, as well as made in wooden finishes such as Canaletto walnut, Flamed oak, Vintage oak, and Black ash or Ceramic top. It’s available in six distinct shapes and sizes.
Barry is a table with an interesting design: it has metal lacquered in the legs, while the top can be customizable in a variety of materials such as lacquered finish, Canaletto walnut, Flamed oak, Vintage Oak, Black ash, Ceramic or Palladio Moro marble. This product has a design that’s both subtle and extremely dynamic.
The Kolos tables are a pair of short coffee tables made entirely of glazed ceramic that gives each piece an authentic and original artistic value. They are made from glazed ceramic, a material that ends up giving each piece an authentic and original artistic value and a shiny look.
The Ringo tables by Matteo Zorzenoni effectively combine Palladio Moro marble with black ash and both of them have their top available entirely in Canaletto walnut. The pair can successfully fit into any type of lunchroom.
Chap by Matteo Zorzenoni consists of yet another pair of coffee-tables with an interesting black and white design that make up for a visually appealing product. These two that can be produced entirely in Palladio Moro marble or in European Grey glass. Despite being different in shape and size they have as a common element a central leg in Amber glass.
The Jumbo desk by Paolo Cappello is available in natural ash or black ash, with detail in matt copper or black lacquer. It’s a versatile piece that could fit perfectly in a hotel room as well as in a contemporary home office.
The Ozz lamps have two options both of whom were envisioned and designed by Paolo Cappello alongside Simone Sabatti. The two of them are lacquered floor lamps with a natural or black ashtray. Their style of design for either of the lamps presented is ideal for either the living room or as bedside lights.
